1. Todd Bodine Leader
2. Jamie McMurray -37
3. Jason Keller -80
4. Johnny Sauter -105
5. David Green -112
6. Kasey Kahne -112
7. Kevin Harvick -127
8. Scott Wimmer -136
9. Kevin Grubb -150
10. Bobby Hamilton Jr. -153

Notice that there are now only two "Buschwackers" in the top 10 in points; Jamie McMurray in 2nd, and Kevin Harvick in 7th. Todd Bodine may look like a Buschwacker, but the last I heard, he was planning on running the full Busch Series season, in addition to Winston Cup. Sooner or later, the regulars DO get the edge.

The Busch Points Standings is not correct. Ron Hornady is forth in points behind Jason Keller.

The Top 10 is:

1. Todd Bodine Leader
2. Jamie McMurray -37
3. Jason Keller -80
4. Ron Hornaday -88
5. Johnny Sauter -105
6. David Green -112
7. Kasey Kahne -112
8. Kevin Harvick -127
9. Scott Wimmer -136
10. Kevin Grubb -150

Thats a good mix so far!! With alot of the top dogs liek Biffle and Harvick not running away with the championship it should be a pretty good race all year. Wimmer and Keller were my picks to take the championship and it does not look like they were bad picks. Green, Hornaday and Hamilton will be the top 5 at the end of the year but maybe not in that order.
The #21 Payday car could very well take the owners championship!

I was wondering that myself. Does anyone have a list of the owner's points or where to find it. How much will TV tell this story? They know the car is running for the owners championship.

If I were Childress I would put Harvick in the 21 Pay Day car. And let him run a full season in Busch. But I am not Richard Childress.

Here are the Owner Points after Darlington:

1 #21 Richard Childress Leader
2 #92 Stanley Herzog -33
3 #1 James Finch -70
4 #57 Gregory Pollex -113
5 #2 Richard Childress -121
6 #37 Tammy Brewer -145
7 #38 Brad Akins -145
8 #23 Gail Davis -169
9 #26 Dave Carroll -183
10 #25 Ed Rensi -186

I'm going to have to go with Ron Hornaday for the Busch Championship this year. He is with a winning team that knows how to win championship plus he knows how to win a chmpioship after winning two in the Truck series.
If Hornaday can't do it I think Johnny Sauter will with the 43 and 21 teams.

Awesome!! They are great drivers!! :bounce: :bounce:

I am rooting for Keller to win the Championship, anyone that ugly really needs a Championship in their portfolio in order to attract sponsors. He is a great driver but you will probably never see him endorsing Drakkar Noir (whatever that stuff is). He would be lucky to get Old Spice or Brut. I have always really liked Jason and I really do feel like this is his Championship season.

I like Hornaday a bunch too but he is just gonna have to wait till next year.
