This has to be one of the busiest 24 hours in NASCAR I can remember. Let me see if I can recap.

Mark Martin got out of his MWR deal to replace Stewart for the remainder of the season, except for Talladega. Austin Dillion will be in the car for that race.

Vickers will replace Martin in the #55 for the remainder of the season except for Talladega where Mikey will be in the car.

Kurt Busch is to have been rumored to sign with SHR. But it comes out he has multiple offers.

Austin Dillon to run Cup in '14 in probably the #3.

Ty Dillon to take big brother's place in NNS in '14.

The day's not over. Could me more to come...

And I just ate some peanuts. Busy day. :D

TONY STEWART AND KURT BUSCH...COULD BE TEAMMATES?!?!? omg ...who knew......

I live and breath RCR, I can't see Harvick doing any better at SHR. He had his chance at RCR and didn't get it done. I hope RCR puts a young gun in the car and not a retread.

  • McMurray says he will be back in the #1 car in 2014: #1-Jamie McMurray will return to Earnhardt Ganassi Racing next season. While its company policy not to discuss contracts, McMurray told FOXSports.com at Michigan Speedway that "youre not going to see any changes between sponsors or drivers on the 1 team. McMurray, 37, is 16th in the Sprint Cup point standings. He has six-career Cup wins, including three in his past four years of his second stint with Chip Ganassi.(FoxSports)(8-20-2013)

Good to hear! I'm afraid that if he lost that ride, he may not have found another decent ride.

Expect a slow news day, since every possible thing that could have happened already happened yesterday. #nascar
Jeff Gordon out of the 24? Hearing that Gordon may be moving Richard Petty Motorsports. No words on who he is replacing and who is replacing him.

Nope! ;)

Harvick and Stewart work very well together, I could see Harvick getting a championship with SHR.
