So after 14 years it's finally over. This Week In NASCAR has run its course. IMO, a once, good NASCAR show ran into the ground by the exec's @ SPEED. It started with the removal of Bestwick and continued in a downward spiral from there.....

The Daly Planet: SPEED Shifts Gears And "TWIN" Is The Casualty

Once Alan, Johnny, and KennyS left, it went downhill.

However, Chad Knaus has really amazed me. He really gave me insight into the CC's job. Chad, I'll miss.

What a shame.I agree once Alan Bestwick left the show,it started downhill. So is Racehub the answer,or are the Showtime rumors true?

The Showtime rumors are true.

That show was never as good as when Allen was at the helm. He was the voice of reason among the chaos. Mistake #1, changing the set layout. It made everyone uncomfortable. Mistake #2, removing Allen and adding Dave Despain. Mistake #3..... I couldn't tell ya. That's when I quite watching. Allen was NASCAR, Dave was not. It was uncomfortable and unwatchable at that point.

Hey, you do know Alan grew up in Coventry? His grandparents had a place near us, he fell off the dock and my brother saved his butt.

I quit watching when Michael Waltrip seemingly took over the show. I think Mikey's even more annoying than his brother.

Thats too bad, I really liked the show. I don't care what you guys say but Waltrip and Knaus were great on there. Chad added an elimate you don't see on other shows. Getting his view of how the race unfolded was a real different perspective. Normally Waltrip bothers me but on that show he was actually pretty good. You got to hear the CC and Drivers point of view from the previouse race not a couple of annalyst that haven't been in a race car in 10 years, if ever. Mistake by Speed.

Totally agree, Alan, Johnny, and Kenny were great and got along well.

It was too laid back for me. They could make describing an exciting race sound like ordering a ham on Rye.

And I agree with mugglenot and TRL on this one 100% !!!!!
