On paper, it sounds like a cool local thing for her to do, even though everyone in Indy obviously knows her name by now. She can putt around for a few laps, shake some hands, sign some autographs, take some pictures, and hold some babies if she wants.

Stix (LegendsNation owner) is a huge Caitlin Clark fan. Then again, everyone is a Caitlin Clark fan. 😇

If she wanted to test in one, someone would put her in a car just for the publicity alone.

Isn't she too tall for a legend?

There’s probably no way in hell the Fever let her do something like that if she’s driving herself, the risks of it outweigh whatever reward could be gained by it. In the 80’s Michael Jordan used to play incognito pick up ball during his rookie year. Once the Bulls found out they put a clause in his next contract that forbade him from doing that. My point is you have to protect the franchise, Caitlin is the franchise.

Legend Cars are pretty damn durable cars. I've seen some violent crashes in those things.

The Indianapolis Speedrome... I went twice this May while I was in Indy for the 500. The Figure 8 modifieds are the most ridiculous racecars ever conceived. No HANS or similar devices in any division. One driver ran a street stock figure 8 with his hood blocking his entire windshield (he was getting black flagged each lap, too). It was a very fascinating experience.
