A few quick notes on Saturday's California Busch race...

* Nextel Cup regulars swept the top 5 in Saturday's Busch Series race. The last time Nextel Cup regulars swept the top 5 positions in a Busch Series race was this year's season opener at Daytona.

* The 13 laps under caution matched the season low set at Nazareth in May. The last Busch Series race with fewer than 13 laps under caution was at Talladega in April of 2002 when 12 laps were run under caution.

* The average speed of the race winner was 147.844 mph. That is the highest average speed for any Busch Series race this season and the highest average speed since October of 2003 at Charlotte when Greg Biffle won with an average speed of 148.576 mph.

I don't know, but anyone that didn't enjoy that race I just don't know what will satisfy them. There was battling going on throughout the field all day and the racing between Casey and Greg was awesome!

I hope tomorrows race is as good.
