Yeah there all from new teams. There is also John Andretti and Travis Kvapil without sponsorship and they drive for DEI and Yates.

Boy if you can find somebodies discarded COT from last year and get it to fit all the templates. You could almost put it in the garage and sit and wait for them to come to a track near you and try to get in. Welcome back the days of open trailers and two guys showing up and recruiting a pit crew lol

Could be some serious truth to what you just wrote, I would not be surprised if this happens more often than not over the next couple of years.

But this is what the COT was supposed to accomplish.

NASCAR fully anticipated the bigger teams would spend big bucks and build more cars than they needed and that meant their old cars would go somewhere.

It may not have helped costs in the short run, but now we're seeing it pay off. Now, any team that can afford the money can go run at Richmond or Fontana or Loudon or Kansas.

This is NASCAR actually being right on the money for once.

Come on do you really believe what you just wrote? If Nascar was right on they would have developed the correct tire combination for this COT before it started to officially race!

You know to add to that i was just thinking. If somebody did that could they go test at off limits tracks before applying for NASCAR's credentials and everything? Cause technically they wouldnt be under their testing rules until then.
