I know a lot of you don't care for California Speedway but I'm excited. I can't wait for this weekend. We have seven seats right between the start/finish line and the entrance to pit road. We have pit passes, too. Saturday we will drive to the track and Sunday the train will pick us up about 1/2 mile from my house and drop us off at the track. I have a surprise for my friends because none of them know about the pit passes. :D
 
Bobby, just make sure you and everyone around you throw away the trash. People out there make the Michigan fans look neat. :D
 
Sounds like great seats. Let's hope the weather's a little cooler than last year!
 
I'm officially jealous. Let us know if there is truth to the rumor that the seats can turn into cots to sleep on during the race. :D:D

That's what they need at Dover International Speedway, cots.

Have fun....... kinda jealouse myself. This will be (unless somethin changes between now and Nov the first year in I can't remember how long that I haven't gone to a single NASCAR race......
 
Well, I'm sure you're at the track now, so I'm hoping you're having an AWESOME time!!

For me, even though Watkins Glen wasn't as exciting as last year, it was still great just being around the cars, smelling the oil, gas, and hearing the noise!! I can't wait to go to a race again! It's so much different BEING THERE than watching it on TV and thinking "this is boring." Nothing like having your eardrums just about blown out whenever the cars go by! LOL I'm looking forward to tonight's race!!
