Why are they playing the Canadian National Anthem?

Brian Ickler is on the pole! :beerbang:

The tracks which are close or touch the border of Canada, play their anthem before ours. (Which is the way it's supposed to be done.) They do it at the Glen, too. Lots of fans from Canada come over for the races, is my guess as to why they do it.

I'd rather see them race in Canada... whether it's Montreal, Mosport, Cayuga or Delaware, just about anything is better than MIS.

I like Ryan Hackett, but I really wish they had better equipment.

I thought they'd throw a caution since they throw a caution every time someone gets loose and brushes the wall... but I forgot they only do that to help the big teams.

Ryan could do good things if he were in a fully-funded team. Not a bad run for a small family run operation.

I think they over do the yellow flags. Just since someone spins is no reasion for a yellow. If they spin and keep going keep the green out.

Andy, that was more then a brush. That was a nice smack.

Now there are only 20 trucks still running.

And people talk about ARCA being pathetic?

I was referencing to other drivers. How many times has someone brushed the wall and NASCAR's thrown a yellow flag?

I agree with you (for the first time ever). But the problem you'll have then is people spinning and then stopping to bring out the caution.

Do it like dirt, you bring out a yellow go to the tail end. If you stop on the track for any reason go the tail end. Bring out two yellows. Take it to the hauler.

I'd love to see the 6 get a little pay back on the 51 today. :)
He's got to be able to keep up!

That was an ass move by Norm Benning.

Try looking at the replay and you willl see the 51 once again is the ass. the 57 was on the line and they had plenty of room too pass him. The 57 was buy himself and the leaders saw him on the previos lap so they had too know they where closing on him. As usual Busch is looking no further ahead then the end of his hood. You can not get supid and pass on the bottom and expect to keep momentum at this track. It was said earlier in the broadcast.

Busch needs an excuse every week so I am sure the 57 will be the reason he goes pouting and stomping off today.

Congratulations Colin Braun! He needs to remember to thank Norm Benning for that.

Are we planning on running results at all?

SPEED's ARCA and Truck Series coverage is awful and it gets worse every race. No interviews with drivers who wreck or blow a motor or anything...

STILL waiting for unofficial results.

13 trucks on the lead lap, 19 trucks running at the end. I don't know how SPEED ignores that.

The coverage or lack of it provided by Speed on any event is really lame. The show is so scripted that if a true dark horse where to ever become a story in the race or a threat to win like Keselowski at Talladega the show would be nothing but dead air.

:beerbang::beerbang:

For once, I agree with you on something. :p

Did you watch their WoO Late Models at Virginia Motor Speedway coverage? That was, easily, THE WORST coverage of anything, ever.

SPEED's coverage of Grand-Am is pretty good... but that's about it.

Andy. I thought you KNEW about racing and what the flags ment. The lap cars are not spose to move over. The flag stands for "HOLD YOUR LINE, The Leaders are comming" All the drives meetings i have been to have been the same "when i show you this flag, just hold your line, the leaders are comming and if you start moving to get out of the way you can cause a wreck" I was leading and was on the bottom, they showed that flag and the guy came down and all most took me out. So the guy today did the right thing, he held his line.

He didn't hold his line. Kyle went to the inside where there was room, and Norm Benning blocked him.

Anyone got Norm's address? I'd like to send him a Thank You card

Congratulations Colin Braun! He needs to remember to thank Norm Benning for that.

On Lap 77 of the Michigan 200, Braun took advantage of a rare mistake by Kyle Busch. With Busch's momentum slowed through Turn 2 by the lapped truck of Norm Benning, Braun passed the No. 51 Toyota for the lead and sailed home in clean air the rest of the way.

Maybe the drivers are all getting like your #1 son and getting mad, running away and not giving interviews when something goes wrong. If it's ok for him it should be ok for everyone else.:rolleyes::sarcasm:

Mike, you don't need to be so hateful towards Shrub. Your team won the Stanley Cup, take pride in that. ;)

Tell you what, I would've laughed if Cindy Crosby or Evgeni Malkin threw that trophy. Caps will beat y'alls asses next year... they had one bad game, that's all. Y'all are going to :D

Every game was close except Varlamov's meltdown on Game 7.

How many games during the regular season did the Caps beat your beloved Pengins last year? All it takes is Malkin getting injured (because Cindy Crosby ain't as good as y'all think he is).

Crosby sat out the 2nd period yesterday and didn't play much of the 3rd.and you still lost.I love it when you lose Andy you full of excuses.I guess that's why you and Kyle go so good together.Just face it your CAPS got their asses handed to them and last time I looked this wasn't last year.
