Can we just bomb 'em and get it over with?

To hell with the UN and all these celebrities, sports stars, and all the other "hippies" (sorry, that's the best way I could think of to describe em) I am a firm believer that if you don't like it get out, I'm sure France will welcome them with open arms. The latest celebrity to make my black list is the lead singer for the Dixie Chicks. She is to have said (at a concert in London no less) that she is ashamed that the president is from Texas!! And to think I was going to drive to Denver in July for their concert. Add this to the athletes who turned their backs on the flag and it's enough to send a guy over the edge. Not a good thing to push a Montanan too far, we're all crazy up here anyhow. Then there was tidbit I picked up earlier. I heard on the news this morning that Iraq has placed artillery rockets within striking distance of US troops. These are the rockets that Iraq isn't supposed to have. Sounds like an act of aggression to me so I guess that means we can go t to war without UN approval now. So why are we "testing" these new bombs out in the desert? I think I know of a better desert that would be a much more suitable test site. Drop that 21000 lb bomb on Saddam's Presidential palace, then do a report on whether or not it works. Sorry about the rant, but I'm sick to death of this crap. Well ya'll have a wonderfull day. Is it Sunday yet?

Here in Kansas City the Dixie Chicks have been "banned" from the country radio stations. I don't like what she said, but because she is an American, she can say that. But to "ban" the band from the raido is not right.


I agree with your comment of the testing of the "Mother of all bombs". "test" it over there!
 
Don't worry The President is meeting with leaders from Spain and England over the weekend, most likely to tell them that it will happen no matter what the UN decides. We don't have over 300,000 troops positioned over in the Middle East for nothing, either way Iraq will get the full force of our military. From what i have been hearing out here in CO.Springs from my military friends it will be Tuesday that the war will start. Four days of intense bombing with cruise missles, aircraft bombing, and then eventually we will go in with ground troops. What we have to worry about right now is Sadam bombing Isreal before we go in, he wants to destroy that country as much as possible before the USA takes him out. He is positioning troops and rockets according to sources on www.worldnetdaily.com to unleash a barrage on Isreal, he wants to go out with a big bang. Hopefully he won't be able to, cross your fingers and say a little prayer or whatever you need to do. The next week will be kind of scarry that is for sure.
 
You know all those Martin and Charlie Sheen Visa commercials? The one where he's in the video store and waiting and waiting for his check to clear? Guess what? Visa dropped Martin out any future compaigns because of massive customer complaints.

Funny how that happens, yet we never see people that support Bush on the news. They only show us the people that protest it, because it makes better news.

They have the right to ban her and the band just as much as the idiot had the right to say what she did.
 
That cracks me up that they banned them. These people fail to realize that not all people who support their livelyhood care to be told that they are wrong in supporting America. If people don't like them, they won't pay to see them. If they don't pay to see them, these people will be replaced by the hords of people who dream of having a job like acting or singing and making millions of dollars for doing it.
 
Good point 4x, but many people will overlook the stupid remarks made by the Dixie chicks just because they can do no wrong in the eyes of their fans! ^_^
 
Hey smack Toyota can only improve Nascar ....why do you dislike them so much you want to petition against them being in the sport?

Toyota improve NASCAR. huh NASCAR is going down hill with this commom templates. they need to run a STOCK CAR body, but ok i will shut up now back to the war part.
 
Let us not forget the owners of the radio stations have as much right to bann them as they have to be anti- american. Media is PRIVATELY owned in this country, they OWN freedom of speech.

I, as a patriotic american, have the right to stop supporting the advertisers of the stations who continue to play their music.
