Why am I not getting email notification about subscribed threads and why the emoticons aren't animated for me when others don't seem to be having a problem??? 
Can you tell me?

I'm using IE, and the emoticon animation quit on me a while back. The email notification to subscribed threads stopped about a week ago.

Are you using any spam blocking software?

Nope, I disabled that so I can run Spybot and adaware when I choose to, and that's about 1x a day. My ISP has a spam blocker that I choose noy to use.
