If you like to watch cool cars (well, not all of them are cool) the there a couple of big auctions coming up.

The Barrett-Jackson Scottdale car auction starts on TV Tuesday (their big auction of the year). Since the demise of SpeedTV the auction is spread across several channels. Check your local listings:

The Mecum Kassimmee car auction (their big auction for the year) starts at the end of this week, the moved from Velosity to NBC this year.

My problem with B-J ---- the Chili Bowl is Saturday night, and that's when the big guns usually come out at B-J. *sigh*

One of my main gripes with SPEED is that there was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY TOOOOOOOOOOOO MUUUUUUUUUCH Barrett Jackson auction programming.

Prices are way up this year - stupid high prices.

That 1 of 1 red Corvette was beautiful.

And hearing The Snake's car rumble up was pure music.
