I've taken a lot of pictures at local car shows. I thought I'd share a few for an off-season distraction.

Hopefully I am posting original stuff or at least something close and not some custom work.

Zerkfitting and the others who posted photos, THANK YOU!!
It was a blast from the past to see them. They are all recollections of a time when everyone loved their cars and each brand had its own personality and style, from the tail fins and wide wing effect of the rear fenders to the pointed grill of a Studebaker and the split grille of a Pontiac. Hooded and disappearing headlights, fender skirts and spot lights. So many fond memories of the days when we argued which brand was best and which model looked the best in any given year. Fun stuff!!

Just sitting here and thinking of how the automobile came into popularity. Before Henry Ford introduced the assembly line concept of manufacturing in 1913, the Model T cost $850.00, the equivalent of 18 months pay for the average worker.
The assembly line reduced manufacturing time from 12 hours + per car to 1 hour 33 minutes.
By 1925, the cost of the Model T had dropped to $250.00.
