I still hate it but I have been waiting for Talladega to see what kind of turd it really is. I'm sold on it at the road courses but not so much elsewhere.

I think the car's ugly, but the racing has been pretty good.

Between the Daytona 500 all the way up to today, this has been the best year for racing. :beerbang:

Well i wouldn't go that far , but the racing has been ok. I for one always thought the car was prety cool looking, what i like the most about it is it seems to be quite durable.

Your poll is faulty. There needs to be a 3rd choice for undecided, or it's been as good or as bad as the COY (Car of Yesterday). So maybe 5 choices in all. 1. Love It
2. So far so good
3. Neutral, I need more time to decide
4. This isn't looking good
5. Fire Brian France for such a stupid idea

And your Yes statement can color people's judgement. But, of your 2 choices I'd have to say I love it.

People have compared the COT to the Trucks as to how they handle and to me the Trucks consistently have some of the best racing of the 3 series.
Busch can be the funniest and would have a higher value except you know that like Saturday a Cup guy will be in 8 of the Top 10 spots. But, those Busch drivers can provide the best gut splitting grinning racing that is on TV.
The Cup drivers are soooo serious.

Mabey thats why the busch guys arn't leading the points. Mabey they should take it seriously.

You've got to be kidding me! It's a yes or no answer, how hard is that!

No. In fact very few things in life are so black and white. There are multiple shades of gray and it is our lack of recognition of that fact that causes much of our angst.
Take your question for example. Do we really have enough evidence for us to decide whether we love it or not? Until the COT has been to each track, and I'd argue multiple times, we don't really have enough evidence to say whether or not how we really feel.
Oftentimes those who are quick to pull the trigger especially in regards to love/hate haven't sat down and looked at the issue from all angles. Besides it is what it is. Whether we love the COT or hate it I doubt Nascar will walk away from it this soon. Now sometime in the future, if it fails to gain acceptance with the teams, they may do some tweaking and changing.
But, we are just fans. Nascar expects, no demands, that we hand over our money and STFU.

I agree somewhat with BP. I for example, am "undecided" on the COT. I neither hate it or love it.

For those who claim it's ugly, I have to admit there are large segments of time during the race where I completely forget it's a different car. Guess I'm too busy watching them race to care if the car is pretty or not... ;)

I like the COT and so far, the racing at all types of tracks has been great!!

If you look at the body and ignore the splitter, you might see that same car on a street nearby. lol

I really did not think the splitter would hold up as well as it has. I'm impressed with that. I thought it would be ripped off in the traps but Newman and Edwards plowed right through it like a damn bulldozer. When Newman did it I laughed my ass off because I was sure the splitter was gone. It did sling **** all over the track though.

I was impressed with that too. The way some talked it would shatter on impact. Everyone had me convinced that Bristol in the spring would show them it wouldn't work. It held up good.
