Roush Fenway Racing will have a new look in 2013.

Sources tell FOXSports.com that veteran crew chief Jimmy Fennig will move to the No. 99 team with driver Carl Edwards. Fennig replaces Chad Norris, who filled in after Bob Osborne stepped down in July due to health concerns. Norris is expected to oversee the No. 60 Nationwide Series team.

Read the rest here.

Does Carl still race these days?

It is kind of fascinating how fast Carl fell off the map this season.

I like Jimmy Fenning. I thought Rousch might keep him with Stenhouse Jr. to help in his transition to Cup, but I think he'll be a good fit with the #99 as well.

I think it would be wise to keep Mike Kelly with Ricky, and that may be what's happening here. They will probably win their second NW champ this year, so breaking them into cup together would be wise.

Ricky breaking into cup will be exciting. I predict much the same path as Kez, racing too hard and veteran retaliation. Fortunately, he wont have to deal with Carls dirty Harry police work.

Just once FB, please just one thread without working Bad Brads holier than thou attributes into it, just one. :D

You take that ss a 'Brad is holier than thou' comment?

Silly Gator.

Fender, you obviously follow Keselowski and Wolfe pretty closely...tell the people why Wolfe first refused to have anything to do with Keselowski when he wanted him to be his CC ;)

It's in the article I posted. Brad was too aggressive, which I always agreed with. It not unusual for a new driver. Paul needed a job and realised that Brad had the talent to back it up.

I like this idea. I believe Fennig and Carl will work well together. If you think about it, the main thing that was different this year for Edwards from the 2011 season was the lack of Nationwide competition (same with Kyle). I believe Carl and Kyle are two drivers that really benefit from running in the Nationwide series. After the dismal 2012 peformance by my drivers, I'm looking forward to 2013.
I also think that bringing a smooth, calm Matt Kenseth into the JGR camp will benefit both Denny and Kyle.

I'm a Jimmy Fennig fan . I really think he is one of the good things that Jack has going right now.Maybe he should be director of racing operations?

I think Fennig is one of the better CC's in Cup and has some experience in dealing with egos so he and Edwards should be a good fit.

It's too bad that He and Martin were never able to win the championship together.

Sounds like a good move. Fennig is great, and RFR has a huge investment in Edwards.

Here you go...

Wolfe was content at CJM Racing, and had made a commitment to the Nationwide Series team. And even if he were to leave, he wasn't sure he wanted to team with Keselowski, who had had some on-track incidents with Wolfe's driver.

Funding, for one. Wolfe had given CJM his word, but the team circumstances changed at the end of 2009 and Wolfe needed a job.
"There was no funding there to continue on, so at that point I was looking at all of my options that were out there," Wolfe said. "As I sat down and looked at them, I had seen, obviously I had raced with Brad and seen what he was able to do, and I felt like together him and I could hopefully win races and contend for championships."

How much did Fender pay you to write that obvious suckup or are you fender in disguise. :D

Fender has the 'Keselowski Touch'. Any and every thread that he posts in slowly turns into a Keselowski love fest. New Keselowski fans will be climbing out of the woodwork should he take home the prize on Sunday. The bandwagon will fill up fast and furious and it will be Fender behind the wheel. The Pied Piper of Keselowski.

LOL. I wasn't sucking up...I was actually hoping Fender would've posted this:

The first time Brad Keselowski asked Paul Wolfe to be his crew chief, Wolfe didn’t flinch.
“He looked me in the eye and said, ‘No, I don’t want to do it,’” Keselowski said. “I think he was kind of mad at me because I had wrecked (his car).”

That's what Brad thought. I posted what Paul said was his reason. Brad is on nascom and he just said he didn't realize Paul was a man of few words, so he figured he was mad at him.

My point was that he didn't deny wrecking his car.

WOW. If Brad doesn't blow this one, it's gonna be a FenderFest this winter. I can't wait.
