Would Montoya consider a change? He's hugely popular with Spanish speaking fans. Would Bowyer get an offer he can't refuse? His sponsorship with GM isnt set yet. Would JGR make a run at him or Juan?

We'll soon see how much pressure Home Depot is putting on JGR. I wonder why they didn't make a serious run at Kenseth. Perhaps it was Carl or nothing, and now JGR seems to be in shock.

Juan at JGR? Surely you jest.

It's not a prediction, but is there something that would make it inconcievable? Remember, JGR's goal isn't expansion, it's keeping their most high profile sponsor happy. IF Home Depot wants Juan, JGR will make a move for him, and that brings us back to my original point. How unhappy is Home Depot?

Vickers or Martin to JGR.

If Roush makes any changes at all, it'll be to put Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. and/or Trevor Bayne in Cup.

Why? Why would Home Depot want MM or Brian? Roush is set with 4 drivers with Ragan on the hotseat, but I doubt UPS want's another rookie experiment. Trevor has popularity, but he isn't good enough for Cup yet. Word is, Stenhouse was in line for Carl's ride.

I doubt Bowyer is going anywhere unless RCR has no sponsor for him.

It's not what Home Depot wants, it's what they don't want... Home Depot wants Logano OUT of the #20 car. And since there's supposedly a performance clause in the contact that hasn't even come close to being met in three full seasons with Logano, they're going to get that.

Mark Martin and Brian Vickers are both drivers who could do great at Gibbs. Mark fits the image The Home Depot wants, and I'm sure Gibbs would love to have him around to help Kyle and Denny mature as drivers.

Vickers also fits the "man's man" image the Home Depot likes (something that Joey doesn't fit).

Ragan's seat isn't hot, he's locked in with Roush and UPS through 2014.

There is no such thing as 'locked in' when it comes to who the sponsor want's to drive their car. UPS is locked in to sponsor the 6 car. If they want a driver change, Jack will try to give them what they want. Joe Gibbs did, even though Home Depot is locked in as sponsor for the 20 car through the 2013 season.

It would have been way cool to see Kram Nitram return to Jack's team, I think. And I could see Ol' Jack switching Reagan's #6 to #99 so that Kram could be in the 6 again. But, who knows if either Mark or Jack would have been interested in a reunion...

Eddie Haskell stays in the 99, JoJo stays in the 20, Shakey Khane moves to the 5, the 83 and the 4 appear to be going away - unless a miracle happens - so Vicks Vaporub and Kram are out of a job.

Maybe Mark can be Miss Thang's teammate at JRM in the NNS Series...

Carl ain't leaving, it would appear, so this is all just speculation.

I agree that Stenhouse (and even Bayne) are not ready for full-time CUP rides. That's what makes the potential of a Kram Nitram return to RFR (for a year or two) so intriguing.

Kram 'ymmum eht' Nitram isn't racing full time next year.

If Home depot has a performance clause what is to keep them from dropping Gibbs and sponsoring Edwards at Roush. just a thought.

My understanging is that the driving part of the contracts are with the race team, not the driver. The driver is part of the deal as long as the sponsor want's them to be. The driver gets his money, even if he doesn't drive.

What image is that, dried up old alcoholic painter or sheetrock hanger?

Driver or not if they don't perform as a team the sponsor can still dump them.
