It took 53 days but my Cleveland Cavaliers finally won another game! They broke the record for longest losing streak in the NBA at 26 games. They tied the Tamba Bay Buccaneers for the longest losing streak in any of the 3 major sports. They had the chance to break that streak last night, but they played like they wanted no part of that record. After playing with very little effort in their last game they played with a lot of heart and hustle last night at home against the Los Angeles Clippers. It is no coincidence that their starting point guard returned from injury for the game. Mo Williams isn't a superstar, but on a team with that little talent they can't afford for one of their best players to miss several weeks with an injury like Mo did.

I watched the second half and overtime of the game and I was very impressed. While it is still painfully obvious that they are not very talented, they played their hearts out. J.J. Hickson plays his @ss off the whole game. He played awesome defense against Blake Griffin. He blocked at least two dunk attemps by Griffin, who's highlight real dunks are a regular thing to see on Sportscenter and ESPNews. It was the most fun I've had watching an NBA game all season.

bo, you don't know how hard it's been for me to resist posting during the cavs...streak. <g> glad they finally won one for you. :)

It's a shame what has happened to them, I know what you are going through.

Basketball has been my favorite sport for as long as I can remember. I've always been a big football and baseball fan as well, with certain ebbs and flows of dedication. Of course, I really like other sports too with, of course, NASCAR being one of them. It's been tough to watch this team for most of the year though.

I bet you didn't like what happened to Ohio state yesterday:eek:
I still can't believe we beat them

I believe it. In fact I kind of expected it. The Badgers have lost a total of 1 home game in the past 2 seasons. They are very tough at home. I watched every minute of that game. The Buckeyes had the game well in hand until the Badgers got insanely hot from 3 point range. When a team does that, and several of your shots rattle in and out, you are going to lose. I certainly didn't think the Buckeyes were going to go undefeated this year. I do still like their chances of winning a National Championship this year though. They have a very complete team.

Yea, they have a very good chance to win...
