It took 53 days but my Cleveland Cavaliers finally won another game! They broke the record for longest losing streak in the NBA at 26 games. They tied the Tamba Bay Buccaneers for the longest losing streak in any of the 3 major sports. They had the chance to break that streak last night, but they played like they wanted no part of that record. After playing with very little effort in their last game they played with a lot of heart and hustle last night at home against the Los Angeles Clippers. It is no coincidence that their starting point guard returned from injury for the game. Mo Williams isn't a superstar, but on a team with that little talent they can't afford for one of their best players to miss several weeks with an injury like Mo did.
I watched the second half and overtime of the game and I was very impressed. While it is still painfully obvious that they are not very talented, they played their hearts out. J.J. Hickson plays his @ss off the whole game. He played awesome defense against Blake Griffin. He blocked at least two dunk attemps by Griffin, who's highlight real dunks are a regular thing to see on Sportscenter and ESPNews. It was the most fun I've had watching an NBA game all season.
