Does anyone on here have an Samsung Sync? and if so what do you think?

This is the worst phone i have ever had. Hardly have any service with it, Have anywhere between 2-10 droped calls a day. and it has been shuting itself off and calling people all by its self. Now it wont even turn on. This is the 2nd Samsung i have had, never again will i get another Samsung after having this one.

But i am not pointing fingers at them, because i never had that many droped calls before on another phone, and neither has anyone i know personaly. I am on an older phone now and not had problem one. I think cell phones are not lasting as long is because of all the fancy high tech chit that they are putting on/in them. Just let me make calls and text and i'll be happy.

I had two silver razors, both have not been a handfull, but been better then the sync.
 
I have the Samsung Sync with Cingular (AT&T). It is not the best phone I've had but the last phone I had, which was a MotorolaV551 was by far the worst. With my Motorola I had TONS of dropped calls and no service virtually anywhere-an I live and work in a major cities with very few if any "dead zones". My complaint about my Samsung is sometimes my voicemail messages don't show up until a few days later. BUT my mother has a Razor with Cingular and has been having the same problems. I feel that since Cingular merged with AT&T (and I've had "Cingular" since they were Bellsouth down here) the service has been much worse.

That isn't a phone problem, but a service problem. And, it was happening to me periodically before the merger. Not so much now. I have a Motorola Razor.
 
I know mine is a phone problem beenusing my Nokia that iv had since 2005 and it works better then the Samsung. When they send me the new one im thinking about putting it on e-bay and gitting me something better.
 
Yes, I agree, Cinglular/ATT should be the best service out there but I have quite a few bad spots around here. Im going to upgrade probably next month or the first of December and I am getting the Motorola Razr2 phone.
 
For what it's worth, I recently got the LG 8600 (similar to Razr). I like much more than my old razr. Worth a look-see...
 
I have the Samsung Sync. I with Cingular/now AT&T. The phone itself is ok. I've had a lot more dropped calls with them than I ever did with Alltel. But this phone is no worse than the one I had with them before. I think the dropped call thing is a network thing more than a phone thing.

The only problem I have with the phone is that the memory chip they sold me for it keeps popping out of it's slot just enough that I have to keep pushing it back in to access any music I have on the chip.

My daughter's phone did that. We had to get a new one. No fixing it. That's when we were with Cingular, which has been a few years ago.

I have Verizon. My phone is a Samsung. Not had any problems with it. (knock on wood) Verizon is good about no dropped calls, but they would sell there souls for a dollar, then charge you for it. LOL
 
I have had Cingular since i got my 1st phone. It was pre-paid, but a short time after i got a plan. 2003ish. Never had this much trouble untell i got the since in July 2007.

I would not buy another razer unless they were CHEEP. The 1st one it would not let me change the ringtones, and the back speeker went out. Now the 2nd one will not charge. I know its not the battary because i changed that and everything works, just wont charge, and iv tryed 4-5 chargers!!!

Im not really hard on cell phones, i just tend to get the junk ones it seems....:rolleyes:
 
Nokia

I would not buy anything else but Nokia... I think they are the best phones out there! They only make cell phones!
