Anyone else watching the NBA Finals? Great to see this match up again! My Celtics had a 20+ point lead and almost blew it last night, but "luckily" (;)) they did hold on to keep a 2-0 lead in the series. They play in LA on Tuesday. Go Celtics!

Well i am trying to watch it but it is on so damn late i fall alseep in the middle of the second quarter. Being up 2-0 going to LA is huge, Lakers now have to win 4 out of 5 games, i don't see that happeing. If the Celts take one in LA they will be sitting pretty. I was listening to the ratings, they aren't up nearly as much as i thought they would be, so this tells me the whole rivalry thing really isn't drumming up that many viewers. I used to like it when the finals where on Sunday afternoon, used to sit with my Dad glued to the tube watching Larry and Magic battle, now that was basketball!

I fell alseep again before half time and the Celts were getting trounced by 24. I wake up and find out they won the game, i can't believe they won this game, if only these games were on earleir so i could watch them oh well. Celts are looking pretty!

you mean there are people that still watch the NBA?.........

I was rather surprised that the NBA would let the Celtics win game 4. NBA executives had to be dancing in the streets when this dream matchup became a reality. Now the ratings boom they have received is going to be hurt by the series being nearly over in the minds of many.

I really expected the Lakers to win this series, and they still might, but the Celtics have taken care of business. It will be nice for Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce to finally get their rings (if it happens). It will also be some vindication for the Eastern Conference who have been billed as some kind of JV league all season.

I've been watching this series too. Rooting for the Celtics to clean it up this weekend. Good comeback last night!

Actually from what i heard on the radio the other day the ratings aren't up as much as the NBA had hoped with all this hype. NBA is just not the same stuff i grew up with, the quality of the game has declined that is for sure and so have the rivalries.

I was glad to see Boston win it in 6 games and just hammer the Lakers in game 6. Boston showed that they were clearly the best team in the league this year. As a Cavaliers fan that isn't easy for me to say. But at least they are from the Eastern Conference. I guess this showed how much better the West really was this year, eh?

Okay, I'm from L.A, and people were going Nuts, dressing there dogs,
cars and childen in laker colors (don't see why..its the laker's for cryin out loud),
i mean i didn't care who won, i just wanted it to be over!

Oh, was there a game...

Once the player's time is over in college I seldom even pay attention to what team they're on much less how they're doing.
