Two top teams lost again this week with Alabama and Oklahoma getting their second loss. LSU is taking the SEC by storm. The pundits have been saying that even with one loss, Bama could still be playing for the big trophy again, but with two losses, nah. They might win the SEC, but I think that this weekend took them out of the big picture. They still have Auburn to play.

As for Oklahoma, that game began ugly and never changed. OU were stopped three time on fourth down inside the five, twice inside the one. They did have their chances though with two sure touchdown passes missed. OU's defense just doesn't look like it once did. OU still has a chance to win the Big12, but they have to go through Oklahoma State at OSU. It's probable that the winner of that game will play Nebraska for the Big12 Championship. Regardless, it doesn't appear that any team from the Big12 will play for the national title.

Speaking of teams from the Big12, what the heck has happened to UT? Mack Brown must be pulling out his hair over this season.

TCU and Boise State...unless Auburn or Oregon lose, those two won't have a chance. But I would think that TCU has a better chance of one of the other two loses.
