Chadwick Boseman, ‘Black Panther’ Star, Dies at 43

"Black Panther" star Chadwick Boseman has died at 43. His Twitter account reported that he had been battling colon cancer.

Wow....really shocking. Loved Black Panther along with all the Marvel Movies....

Very sad on a personal level and profoundly sad on a cultural and professional level. A leading man actor dying at 43 means decades of lost work.

His performances included convincing portrayals of Jackie Robinson, James Brown, and Thurgood Marshall. He apparently did all of this and Black Panther while terminally ill. Remarkable.

I used to be a voracious watcher of film, not as much currently. But this is a true collective loss. Rest in power.
