If you have Adobe Acrobat, this link will tell you what each driver needs to have happen to win the championship if they don't win the race.
Scenarios
The scenarios to determine the champion are actually quite simple. Dixon, Castroneves and Kanaan will take the trophy if they win the race because the difference between first and second place is 10 points. There is a two-point bonus for leading the most laps

Hornish can win his third consecutive title by winning the race he has taken the past two years and getting some help. He must hope Dixon and Castroneves do not finish in the top four (or fifth if one of them leads the most laps) and Kanaan does not finish second.
De Ferran needs to win the race and have a lot of things go wrong for his rivals. Assuming none of them leads the most laps, de Ferran needs Dixon and Castroneves to finish outside the top 10, Kanaan to finish outside the top six and Hornish to not finish second.
Tony almost won the first Texas race, he's got a good chance at winning.
