If some of the talk comes to fruition and teams like RPM disappear and others like SHR and HMS each drop a team will the charters get picked up by others? If Rob Kauffman sold his charters for 6 million each 18 months ago what would you guess they would trade for today?

If there isn't a market for the charters will they end up being relinquished and going back to Nascar or will teams find some sort of creative used for them until they become viable?

I hear they make great placemats.

If they go unused, aren't they revoked?

I need to look it up but I think you have a stipulated period before a charter gets revoked. My hope is that excess charters don't land in the hands of more back markers as they already make up a good 25% of the field.
 
Charters will soon disappear and have no value as there will not be enough teams to use them.
I predict the number of cars per race will drop to 36 on it's own and that is why Carl Long is able to race.
