Why the hell not. What you got?

Mine:

1. Harvick
2. Gordon
3. Edwards
4. Tony Stewart
5. Kyle Busch
6. Brad Keselowski
7. Jimmie Johnson
8. Kurt Busch
9. Matt Kenseth
10. Denny Hamlin
11. Newman
12. Dale Jr.

Keselowski or Gordon winning it all. Kevin will have one bad race as usual end it for him. Kyle will meltdown (or get help from Harvick). Kurt will wreck Jimmie out of it.

1)Johnson
2)Gordon
3)Edwards
4)Harvick
5)Shrub
6)Keslowski
7)Busch
8)Kenseth
9)Newman
10)Hamlin
11)Stewart
12)Jr

Because we all know he will somehow find a way :(

1-Kyle Busch
2-Gordon
3-Edwards
4-Johnson
5-Harvick
6-Kurt Busch
7-Dale Jr
8-Stewart
9-Keslowski
10-Kenseth
11-Newman
12-Hamlin

As in the OTHER thread on this same topic, I will cast my vote for Pee Wee!

My predictions

1. #24 Jeff Gordon - I think will get it done this year. He is on a hot streak right as the chase begins

2. #2 Brad Kesolowski - He has been on a great run all summer but since this is his first chase I dont think he will win

3. #48 Jimmie Johnson - Not having the best of seasons with only 1 win but he is good at all the races in the chase and somehow always wins so you cant count him out.

4. #29 Kevin Harvick - Looking very strong right but still has occasional races he cant finish top 10 in.

5. #99 Carl Edwards - Leads alot of laps and is very consistant he could be a possibility.

6. #22 Kurt Busch - He can run strong but finishes are not always consistant

7. #18 Kyle Busch - He can win races but I dont see him having enough patience to but 10 consistant races together.

8. #17 Matt Kenseth - Is very consistant about getting top 10's but that will not be good enough for a championship

9. #39 Ryan Newman - Has some race tracks coming up that favor him but I dont think either of the SHR cars are in position to win a championship.

10. #14 Tony Stewart - Pretty much the same as Newman

11. #11 Denny Hamlin - Has run very inconsistant this season. He just doesnt look to be in any form like he was last year.

12. #88 Dale Jr. - He will run around 10th place most races. Wont challenge for any wins with an exception of Talladega.

12. Denny Hamlin

Part of this may be thinking with my "heart" instead of my "head" but I think if Gordon is gonna get a #5 he probably has a better chance this year than he has had in a LONG time. the consistency he has developed in the second half of the season has been excellent. He has 11 top 10's in the last 14 races. His worst finish of the last 14 was actually 17th at Michigan. He also has been a contender to win in the last 7 races. If he can keep this wave up, he could ride straight into the 2011 Championship.

However, I still say the man to beat is JJ, if anyone is going to win, they will have to BEAT him. I will not rank him any lower than number 2 for any list involving the chase.

As far as the rest of my list..I have simply based it on guys performance so far this year. I don't think that Busch will meltdown quite as badly as most think and will land in the top three.

Mine

Jeff Gordon - I think will get it done this year. He is on a hot streak right as the chase begins

I'm going with Gordon, too. I haven't seen him this fired up and performing so well in a long time. Before he was hot early in the season, if at all, and this year he's gotten hot closer to the Chase. I have to go with Big Daddy this year. ;)

Maybe Ingrid offered him something "special" if he brought home the CUP!

That would prolly work for me! :p

Well, if that were the case, he would have won the championship by now! :D

I was going to post my Own predictions then realized you where spot on! Hope you dont mind I've added some comments.

My predictions

1. #24 Jeff Gordon - I think will get it done this year. He is on a hot streak right as the chase begins. I think Alan Gustafson has ALOT to do with this.

2. #2 Brad Kesolowski - He has been on a great run all summer but since this is his first chase I dont think he will win. For a young man he drives smart and keeps his head

3. #48 Jimmie Johnson - Not having the best of seasons with only 1 win but he is good at all the races in the chase and somehow always wins so you cant count him out.If he keeps Kurt outta his head and rear bumper

4. #29 Kevin Harvick - Looking very strong right but still has occasional races he cant finish top 10 in.RCR has lost consistentcy for some reason???

5. #99 Carl Edwards - Leads alot of laps and is very consistant he could be a possibility.

6. #22 Kurt Busch - He can run strong but finishes are not always consistant He's already loosing the mind game

7. #18 Kyle Busch - He can win races but I dont see him having enough patience to but 10 consistant races together. It's Gibbs history of implosion during the chase

8. #17 Matt Kenseth - Is very consistant about getting top 10's but that will not be good enough for a championship

9. #39 Ryan Newman - Has some race tracks coming up that favor him but I dont think either of the SHR cars are in position to win a championship.maybe a Martinsville WIN

10. #14 Tony Stewart - Pretty much the same as Newman

11. #11 Denny Hamlin - Has run very inconsistant this season. He just doesnt look to be in any form like he was last year.

12. #88 Dale Jr. - He will run around 10th place most races. Wont challenge for any wins with an exception of Talladega.Maybe not even Talledega :(

I agree with alot of what Flash added to that. I think Alan has A LOT to do with the 24 improvement as well! I think he and Jeff are a wicked combo! Jeff really needs to improve in the double file restarts and he could threaten every week!

I'm not going to predict but I believe the Jimmie/Chad reign is over. Jimmie got lucky with the two Championships that were handed to him via a greedy NASCAR/Mike Helton/Bill France Jr., and with that said Jimmie is not and should not be included in a Jeff Gordon conversation. Jimmie couldn't carry Gordon's water bottle.
Whether or not Kyle does it this year or another, Kyle is the enevitable next big thing, and will eventally eclipse JJ in wins.
I would love to see Carl pull it off. If Jeff Gordon does it then it will be most awesome :beerbang:

My chase prediction. Jimmie and Kurt will take turns taking each other out and will effectively be completely out of contention early on. Harvick and Gordon will start to peak again and will be the two competing for the title at the end

What about Harvick and Busch
