I used to race hornets when I lived in Seattle and I knew that there was a class where people were able to race 1980's American cars in stock condition at the track. I have since moved to Long Island and I am trying to find some sort of road or rally race out here on the east coast where I can race a mostly stock car with a v8 that isn't going to cost me a fortune. I know people do this with Matias and s2000 but I don't like the little 4 bangers. Do any of you know about something like this?

Thanks but how do I find out the different classes on there, either the site is poorly made or they are not on there.

sounds like Gstock or Hstock SCCA to me for autocross division, H and F production for club racing.

Is there any type of racing that I can legally do on the street? Without spending a lot.

I hear tales of shoe-horning a 302 into those Miatas. Don't know about cost, though...
