Wish me luck everybody. I have my first college choir concert. I am excited. We are really good. Tell everybody how it goes later .

What a coincedence. I am also involved in a choir concert today called Winterfest. This year my choir will be singing the Christmas Cantata by Pinkham and a pair of songs of John Rutter.

It's my favorite concert of the year, where we sing mostly latin pieces, but we havea good mix. I've been in choirs for about 6 years now and have sung for about 9.

I just enjoy singing, so I'm looking forward to this concert. Also, Xmas eve a group of my friends get together and Xmas caroling in our neighborhood. We might hook up with a charity next year, which would be cool.

I did not get a solo but was close...he gave it too the paino person which is not a student...kind of mad about that......But everbody loved it...and my family was there... PettyBenson you should have been there it was good...

Also I got my birthday present....A Dale Jr. Nascar Jacket and calendar

I hope my birhtday is good tomarrow....

Our choir once got to sing Carol of the Bells with a bell choir. Now that was a night to remember.

Glad your concert went well, Krystle. I just got back from mine and can say we had similar success.
 
Has anyone ever sang "Ave Maria"? When I was but a lad, I sang in an all boys choir and each year, we would sing this opus at the local college and use the almni (who could sing tenor, baritone and bass) as well. Loved that.
 
Ave Maria is one of my favorites. I sing Bass 2, but I have sung that song in baritone, as well. It's a beautiful song.
 
The last time I sang that song, I was a soprano with a few solos now and then. When I was in HS, I was a tenor, so my voice is high for a man, though I've seen guys with much higher voices, specially in NASCAR.
 
right now I sing soprano...but when I was in high school I sang alto and tenor......Soooo I really have a wide range...

we are a lot alike i sing alto and soprano but could hit tenor notes
