There's a taxi'd one downtown at the Natural History Museum in L.A. It is over 11 feet tall. Put's things in immediate perspective.
FWIW, I used to work with Timmy Treadwell at a restaurant in Malibu. Jewel Palovak was a friend of mine and a bartender at the restaurant. She was also Timmy's girlfriend at one time. We would spend Fourth of July at Jewel's house on Dog Beach in Malibu almost every year. I was in charge of the bonfire
Timmy would be back from the Katmai National Park that time of the year with a brand new photograph book. He'd always try to recruit people to go with him the following year. Jewel has the audio from Timmy and Amie's last day in Alaska but she has never listened to it.
