10 hmmmm, let me get back to you on that one. what exactly does naughty mean?;)

1. What is your favorite childhood memory of Christmas?
It would have to be when I got my first bicycle at age 7.

2. When(or)how did you learn there was no Santa?
This one is hard to tell. Had to be somewhere around the third grade or so. You know, when other kids are beginning to talk about it.

3. What smell do you always associate with Christmas?
Again this is a hard one. I don't normally associate a smell with christmas, unless you talk about the tree. Now days, we don't have a real tree, so I don't smell the sap.

4. Is there snow where you celebrate?
Not very often. Even when I lived in Iowa, snow was about a 50-50 thing for Christmas. We do get snow here in NC though.

5. Okay, so where do you celebrate Christmas?
Christmas is always here in Winston Salem. We usually have a big family gathering here at our house. We will have about 10 again this year, maybe 12.

6. What is your favorite Christmas song/carol?
The Mrs asked me that just last night and she thought it was I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas. I said that while I like that song, it isn't my fav. I love all that music, but I guess my fav would be a toss up with "I'll be Home for Christmas" and "Chessnuts Roasting on an Open Fire".

7. Presents. Christmas Eve or Christmas day?
As a youth, we opened our gifts on Christmas Eve, but since I left home in '68, I've always open them on Christmas morning.

8. Do church services play into your Christmas celebration?
In recent years, not so much as in the past, though we never forget what the holiday is all about.

9. If there was one thing you could change about the Holiday Season it would have to be . . .
I think it would be to put Christmas back in it. It's now become, as you have put it, the Holiday Season. The PC crowd has taken religion out of it so that everyone can enjoy. Anyone can enjoy it and it still can be about Christ.

10. Finally, are you on Santa's naughty or nice list this year?
I'm always nice, but like Mae West once said, "When I'm good, I'm good, but when I'm bad, I'm really good!":)

1. What is your favorite childhood memory of Christmas?
My aunt, my brother, and me, waking the house up at 4:30AM by marching through all the bedrooms singing.

2. When(or)how did you learn there was no Santa?
I don't really remember.

3. What smell do you always associate with Christmas?
Cooking turkey

4. Is there snow where you celebrate?
Nope

5. Okay, so where do you celebrate Christmas?
At home

6. What is your favorite Christmas song/carol?
Adeste Fidelis

7. Presents. Christmas Eve or Christmas day?
Christmas day

8. Do church services play into your Christmas celebration?
When I was young.

9. If there was one thing you could change about the Holiday Season it would have to be . . .
I would love to have my family back for one Christmas.

10. Finally, are you on Santa's naughty or nice list this year?
I think the nice list, this year. LOL

1. What is your favorite childhood memory of Christmas?
Trying to find my presents before Christmas each year. I would open them and tape them back. Until one year they stapled them shut! Also Mom's cooking and just the fun we had.

2. When(or)how did you learn there was no Santa?
about 3 grade, but didn't really believe them until later

3. What smell do you always associate with Christmas?
gingerbread cookies and baking, we had a lot of fun making things

4. Is there snow where you celebrate?
Sometimes

5. Okay, so where do you celebrate Christmas?
home in the morning and then off to Grandmothers house we go

6. What is your favorite Christmas song/carol?
I'll be home for Christmas and O Holy Night

7. Presents. Christmas Eve or Christmas day?
Christmas Day

8. Do church services play into your Christmas celebration?
Very much so, we sing happy birthday to Jesus before presents and we go to every service possible at our Church

9. If there was one thing you could change about the Holid
ay Season it would have to be . . .
So it wasn't so rushed. Slow down and take in the Season

10. Finally, are you on Santa's naughty or nice list this year?
Must be on the nice list but hubby wishes more for the naughty side!

1) Favorite Childhood memory of Christmas: Waking up early one Christmas morning, sneaking down the hallway, and seeing Santa putting presents by the tree.

2) No Santa?????? Say it ain't so!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3) Favorite smell? My mom's baking & cooking. I'd give anything to smell and taste that again...anything!:(

4) Snow...rarely on Christmas, but we do get it. Had 10" last week!

5) Where celebrate. Always here at the house, alternate visiting brother at each others home each year.

6) Favorite Carol? H'mmmmm, what was her last name?<G>
The Christmas Son I guess. Really love them all, depends on the arrangement.

7) Christmas morning every year except once. That was a mistake!

8) Church services? Absolutley! Tis the reason for the season.

9) Changes to the holiday? Slow it down, remove the commercialism, don't start as early. BUT, let the spirit of Christmas reside in everyone all year long!

10) Well, I hope I am on his nice list...but I have been known to wrong once or twice!<G>

10. Finally, are you on Santa's naughty or nice list this year?
I'd probably be on the naughtly list. Depends how you look at it. Maybe Santa will compromise and give me gasoline.

10. Finally, are you on Santa's naughty or nice list this year? For the most part, nice. But there have been a couple of naughty, well never mind.:p

Have to get some pics, but anyway, they always have a menorah that is beautiful and this year was no exception plus, they had several on both sides of the road leading up to the big one.
