Chuck Barris has died

Chuck Barris, creator of the hit game shows The Dating Game and The Newlywed Game, and probably best known as creator and host of The Gong Show, has passed away at 87. Ironically this comes just days after the similarly named Chuck Berry passed away.

If you've never seen "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind", the movie about his claims of being a CIA assassin in the 1960's, it's worth a watch. Barris later admitted that he made all that up, but it was still an entertaining movie.
