We've talked about Kasey and Kyle so how about Clint. Do you think he will ever be a real championship threat? Does MWR have what it takes to give him good enough cars to run with HMS, JGR?
 
Clint has a better overall AVG finish than KyBu. Not as many wins as KyBu, but he is a closer.

And, he is a hoot.
 
When I think of Clint, talent and career wise, I think of Sterling Marlin and Ricky Rudd, a factor in most races and a win here and there but that's it.

He's been a real championship threat already until Jeff turned out the lights on his championship hopes a year ago. lol

Nothing has changed on the 15 team since then, so I don't see any reason why they couldn't be a real championship threat again.
 
Well last year before the Phoenix incident, he was a legit threat to the title. with a Top 10 finish at Phoenix and finishing 2nd at Homestead, it would have been close so .......HELL YES
 
I think he has the on the track talent to win a title. He is good on RPs, RCs, intermediates etc and he racks up the points.

But MWR is currently damaged, largely of his own doing. I dont know if he will ever have the wheels to be the champ. He isnt a Hendrix type, and he doesn't have RCR blood, no chevy = no title.

well.... the 48 has had 6 championships now. Just saying.

pretty sure that team has been caught cheating more than most.

I understand if you don't like the guy . That's great . To say he's not much of a driver (when he had 3wins and finished 2nd in 2012 v/s Kyle 1 win and finished 13th) ; is a bit of an insult to Kyle Busch fans .

Clint didnt blow 3 engines in 3 races.
The cars that Kyle had to drive in 2012 were an insult to Kyle and his fans

Perhaps he doesn't overdrive his equipment ? He uses the same engines as Kyle doesn't he ? I don't really care , I like watching them both race . They are two of the better drivers out there IMO.

Right now I would enjoy seeing ANYBODY race anything
