Very disappointing qualifying efforts by Terry Labonte and Kyle Petty. Hopefully they'll do much better in the race on Monday morning.

Would y'all look where the happiest guy in the Cup series qualified? Brendon Gaughan up there with the big boys........that rookie is good!! I watched him coming off turn four at California a few weeks ago for maybe 50 laps. He was getting such a good launch it was a thing of beauty. Too bad Gordon had the field covered so well because he was coming for a while!! He just may win it Sunday!!

I m upset Steve Park didnt make the show. I was really lokking forward to watching him in cup again. I guess im confused on how the provisionals work because you would think that he would make it over Hermie Sadler on driver points and owners points but maybe its done differently now.
