Cogratulations, Brian Vickers.

if you can't win fairly just cheat and he screwed over a teammate to do it

It is restrictor plate racing. I am soooo sure that Vickers had every intention of hooking and spinning Jimmie. Sheesh.

No congragulations from me. I don't like Dale or Jimmie but I think Vickers knew better of it and then to go blame Dale Jr.

He did the exact same thing when he won the All-Star Open in 2005. Brian Vickers is just an airhead.

Can't believe someone from N C would be proud of the way that Vickers won the race. That will really be one for him to brag about, won't it?

Actually how many will remember. Not many remember when Jeff "screwed" Lil'E.

Hmmm, since I seem to be the only one from NC who has replied to this post, I am assuming that you are talking to me. First off, and this is something that is done all the time, you are putting words in my mouth/posting. I never said that I was proud of the way he won the race. Brian is from nearby Thomasville and made his name at a nearby track, which got him noticed. Since this was your first post hartford60, I have no knowledge of who you root for, nor how you make an argument. But just by your first posting, I'd say that you shoot from your hip without thinking. Why don't we just keep those drivers you don't care for off the track so you won't have to watch them, or if not that, make it a rule that they can't race any of your favs and must move aside. If any of them cause an accident that involves any of your favs, they should be banned from NASCAR for life. Oh, and only your driver knows how to drive correctly. Does that sound like you? Does to me, and that from only one posting.

I don't think the guy did it on purpose. I think he was excited to help a teammate and race heads-up to the stripe. The 25 looked good and could have probably driven around the 48 anyway.

I hope it wasn't on purpose anyhow, I know Brian's unhappy and all.

I think all Jimmie has to do now to get back into the hunt is win out?

Another season pissed away for the 48 :(

Kyle, don't give up the ship yet. Though in my heart of hearts, I'm hoping that Johnson will be the next Mark Martin, "Best to never win a title", but there is still plenty of time, and look, even Marky is so close that he can taste it. Stranger things have happened, and this chase thing sure does prove that.

Sorry if you misunderstood me. I have been around a good many years & "think" I know enough about the racing. Also, I no longer have one favorite driver, but many. So that really kills your advise to kick the rest off. ( I take it thats what you think I thinkthey should do!)In fact, I don't want any of them off---just drive half way clean. That was a dirty move on Vickers & most know it. For crying out loud, he's not even in the chase!!!!!!!!!1

Like I said there are a few now that Sr. is gone---Jr.,Harvick,Johnson,Edwards,Stewart,to name some. Don't like Gordon, the Busch Brothers( but they sure can drive ),Vickers,Bickle. Sorry to the ones that like them. But they all need their fans
