I really hope he has a good lawyer. If they have no other suspects, he seem pretty convenient.

EVERGREEN, Colo. -- Colorado Rockies outfielder Larry Walker discovered the body of an unidentified man Sunday on his property near Evergreen.

Walker called the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office after spotting the body while he was riding an all-terrain vehicle in the mountain community west of Denver, said sheriff's spokeswoman Jacki Tallman.

The body was in a wooded area near a trail on his property and not near Walker's home, Tallman said.

"Mr. Walker is not a suspect," she said. "We don't know if the person was killed at the site or if his body was dumped there."

Walker is on the disabled list and not traveling with the team

And another thing...If he is on the disabled list, why the heck is he riding around on an ATV?

Depends on the "disability". It could be an injury that prevents him from playing, but would not inhibit general activity.

Shoot, I've ridden my ATV when I could hardly walk --- riding is easy.

I have to ask.

If the body had been found on the property of a 62 year old man drawing Social Security disability who found it while on his tractor, would one person suspect the farmer of killing the victim?

Probably not, and we also would have never even heard about it either. <_<
