We've seen how commissioner Goodell comes down very hard on players when they have legal issues, it will be curious to see how he handles this situation.

Colts owner Jim Irsay faces four felony counts after being arrested late Sunday night on preliminary charges of possession of a controlled substance and driving while intoxicated.

When Bud Selig left to become the commissioner of baseball, he gave the Milwaukee Brewers to his daughter, Wendy Selig-Prieb. She had a law degree and was supposed to be smart. She ran the team into the ground, including a 56-106 season.

I'm sure he will still be running the team for all intents and purposes, but it wouldn't look too good for the NFL if he were allowed to remain in charge while these charges were being dealt with.
