Chris "Smokey" Madden has been to VMS 3 times, and walked away with the top money 3 times. Last night he took home $25K by choosing the right tire and outlasting other front runners who started popping right-rears like popcorn starting around lap 85 of the 100 lap feature.
For Andy:
Not that many Potomac guys came down. Hollidge ran towards the back of his B main. Mann crashed out Firday night, pretty much destroying the front end. Hill won his B over Shane Clanton. And Lathrum, poor Jamie Lathrum, lost a wheel before the start of the non-qualifiers race. Ran through the field to come home 4th, but didn't bring home a trophy.
