I got a 19in flatscreen for my computer for Christmas, but im want to get a few more things for it. About a year or so ago i added a wireless mouse and keyboard to it. but i need some new speekers and cd burner/dvd player. what should i look in to for that. I may do some more work to the inside of the computer later, just doing a little at a time. I do want to add a good sound system to it tho.

I have a Dell 4300. I know its already outdated. Its around 4-5 years old or so, but still works just fine.

I also added a new cd player to it a few years back. So i have 2 cd roms in it.

I've got a creative 5.1 soundcard and logitech 550 series surround speakers, the speakers are good but avoid creative if you can, very poor support system. Stick with Logitech, they're one of the best in the business.

as for DVD, i just bought a DVD burner, it's a lightscribe DVD-RW unit made by samsung.

Lap3 We have a Fry's store near here. They have lots and lots of speakers to listen too and I have purchased several for my children.. I have found that a good sounding system will cost a bit over a hundred dollars. My old ears cannot easily tell the difference in brands of that price.
Betsy;)
