Alright, forum folk, time to "fess up. How many of you were glued to your TV set waiting for the green flag and those three famous words,"boogity, boogity, boogity? ....Admit it now, you've been dying to hear them for months. So now that racing season is underway, we can look forward to them for the next 15 or so weeks.
 
Hearing those three little words for me was like that of a child listening for that familiar "HO HO HO" at Christmas. :bounce: YIPEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Yep I was one of those people waiting to here those 3 words

It was a great race. It was SO good to have some racing again. Man - I am psyched!!!

Great to See Jr do so good. He looked like his daddy in the first segment of the race. Was really good to see Kenny so so good also.
 
I was glued to the tv, asking politely for others to be quiet, okay not so politely but I was trying to be nice, so I could hear those three little words. And the race was great. I feel so much better already. Like a new person cause I didn't realize how much I had missed racing until tonight. I knew I had missed it, just not this much.
 
Ill change things around and admit that I WAS NOT glued to the TV for the start of the race. I was having a dilemma of going back and forth from the Sabres at Islanders game and the Race, and I dont think I even saw the start! I was very surprised in myself, the offseason must have clouded my judgement of Nascar...
 
It was awesome to see Geoffrey go out in the first laps! Well, not really, but you could sort of see it coming. But if Team Bam could race the whole race and finish well, there's no reason why Geoffrey's car shouldn't have been able to make it.
 
Oh yeah sure am glad it's Back!!

I was excited to see the race. When I heard a friend of mine sign online shortly after the race started, the first IM that I sent them was boogity, boogity, boogity!! DW is a lil nuts and I can see how he can get on peoples nerves but I kinda find him endearing. It's Mikey that gets on my nerves!! Either way, I'm just glad to see the race season underway. I've only got a couple of more weeks to wait for the IRL season to get underway! Think I'll go find a Newman av til then...

WAHOOOOOOOOOOO it's racing season again!! :bounce:

I agree. When the pack came around for the first lap in turn one, I had the Biggest smile on my face. I turned to 8NotEasy8 and said "Nascar's Back Baby!" She rolled her eyes and continued to work in her puzzle book. :rolleyes: Had I not heard those annoying three words, it would have been perfect.
