TALLADEGA, Ala. - NASCAR on Friday confiscated fuel vents from the cars of Jeff Gordon, Mark Martin, Jamie McMurray, Kirk Shelmerdine and Mike Wallace during inspections.

Each of the vents had one end that was too large, which could, in theory, allow additional fuel to be carried.

NASCAR mandates a smaller fuel cell at Daytona and Talladega than at other tracks
