This is why I do not like the rule that allows the top 35 in the race. The #4 beat all the cars below but barely got in on a provisional. He should be allowed to start ahead of these guys since his speed was better.

36. (19) Jeremy Mayfield, Dodge, 185.126.

37. (9) Kasey Kahne, Dodge, 185.104.

38. (22) Dave Blaney, Dodge, 184.815.

39. (66) Jeff Green, Chevrolet, 184.250.

40. (31) Jeff Burton, Chevrolet, 184.012.

41. (41) Reed Sorenson, Dodge, 183.892.

42. (29) Kevin Harvick, Chevrolet, 183.864.

43. (4) Scott Wimmer, Chevrolet, 185.154 (provisional).

I thought they weren't using provisionals unless it's a past champion. The top 35 are guaranteed a starting spot, the next 8 spots get in on time, and the lineup is set by time.

I guess I'm confussed too. Of course I am blonde (Oops, or should say was!) but I swear the older I get the blonder I act.

the last spot is reserved for the champions provisional, if there is no champion in need of a provisional, it goes to owner's points...i think
