Congrats Joey Logano!

Congrats to Joey, he's had a really good year. Nice redemption for last week

Regardless of what happens from here to Homestead I'm proud of what Joey and the whole 22 team have been able to accomplish this season... Although I do think he'll be around until the end... not to mention there's probably about 20-25 more years left in his career. I would obviously love to see him win it but if not him or his team mate I hope Jeff Gordon can get #5.

I think the best part about today is that I've been talking **** for months to my dad and Joey actually pulled it off... plus this is the biggest win of his career imo. Huge!

Not a Joey fan, but he's run really well this year. Congrats to him and his team for his biggest win yet.
Agreed, its amazing what switching teams can do for a driver.

Just doubled his win total in less than a season :)

I have no idea what that means unless his win total was 1.5 before this season, but congrats on the win anyway.

imo the 22 is clearly the best team at Penske South this year. And just think they almost won last week too.

Will Gonzo roll over and let you rub his belly???. Great kid, I'm glad he's been able to turn his career around and prove what others always thought about him.

It doesn't matter how many times you post 'Gonzo" over and over, the name just doesn't work for someone that looks like the son of Barney Fife.

You're right. You don't have a clue.

HAHAHAHAHA, I hear ya but I give everything a nickname and calling him Joey just don't sit right with me.

I was impressed with how Logs ran the exits at Bristol last night. He was making moves others hadn't thought of, or couldn't execute. Logs seemed to be able to cut the exit at almost any point near the apex, and make it work. He just may develop into the driver to beat at Bristol.

BREAKING NEWS: BRIAN FRANCE ANNOUNCES NEW RULE AFTER READING ONLINE MESSAGE BOARD POST

This rule was hidden in 36 pages of addendum's to the rule book released by nascar last week.

"Drivers will be awarded a full win for winning a race, unless their car owner associate's with the RTA, in which case they earn 1/2 a win."

Pritteeeeeeeeeee sneeeeky!

You're right. You don't have a clue.

Yeah at one point I saw him pass two cars on the inside... In my opinion I think while Hendrick may have somewhat of an advantage when it comes to horsepower... I believe that Penske has their handling dialed in a bit better... even Jeff was saying last week at Michigan how Joey could drive it in so much further and make it stick. If the Penske boys can amp up the power in the chase they may be the team to beat.

The problem for Penske is they depend on Roush/Yates.

Seems like the trick stuff that Penske is doing to the chassis is making up for the deficiencies of the RYR engines. Paul Wolfe was already anointed "the next Chad Knaus" after 2012 and Todd Gor-don doesn't seem to be be far behind.

I predicted Todd and Paul working together again would give Penske a step up. Todd has an engineering degree, and he and Paul worked together at ?GEM?

Don't get all the wank about Roush Yates engines. At Michigan, a big horsepower/speed track, three Roush Yates engined Fords were in the top ten. At Bristol, 5 Roush/Yates engined Fords were in the top ten. Considering Chevy far outnumber Fords in the numbers game, Ford numbers are similar to Toyotas, Fords performance/speed, whatever isn't a problem. Considering how few Ford drivers there are compared to Chevys, they have more drivers in the chase if you adjust for the numbers differences.
