I have had an eye on this guy the last 2 years and he has done very well. Been knocking on that winners door for a while and finally got one.
He has run up front on a fairly regular basis only to get screwed by bad luck.
So congrats Martin, job well done.
Think I'll by a t-shirt.

That was a huge win for Truex, probably put him in the chase, that was all he is lacking are more wins to his credit.

no mikey fan.....but good ta see truex finally get one ! get ole monkey off back !

confidence w/ a win ......often leads ta other wins ....in this biz. we'll see.

even boy wonder seems revived w/ comeback 2nd place finish ! ha!

okay race, helped by the cautions.. Truex and Kurt had the best cars.. I think Kurt will win the final race at Homestead after coming so close all year haha. Truex can be a legit contender I feel. Been showing speed all year.

First race I missed in a while, I'm sad :(
But from what I heard, a MWR driver who had never done too well on road courses and Kurt Busch had the best cars.
Congrats to Truex, not much of a fan though.
And congrats for the elder Busch for driving through the field from one lap down to finish 4th.

Congratulations to Truex and TNT on an excellent broadcast - as usual :punkrocke Kyle Petty tells it like it is and Wally Dallenbach knows his business. I wish they did ALL Nascar races.

Congrats to Martin and the MWR crew , great job , and well deserved . Also congrats to our guy Allenbaba and the 78 team for their great showing . Hope that next win is just around the corner .

Thanks! Still not 100% convinced we win without the penalty (2nd penalty was kind of a formality, we still needed to work our way from the back anyway) that 56 was strong. But, we'll never know.

TNT is following us all week for the Kentucky pre-race All Access piece. Should be fun. Kurt's throwing out the first pitch at the Orioles game tomorrow night, and entertaining a bunch of troops at the stadium. He does this kind of stuff all the time, and almost all of it away from any cameras.

Let us know if you are going to be on camera . (Hair and make up , Mr. Baba ?):D

Congrats Truex! How many people here were waiting for a late caution to come out and cost Truex the win like usual? I was nervous for him those lap couple laps.

Ha! Doubt it. I'm fantastic at staying behind the camera. I only get to < 10 races a season (as per my contract) but sometimes I'll go out of my way to sneak into the shot - and only because I know it makes my kids go nuts at home.

Saw Kurt had quite a few folks in his entourage walking down pit road on Sunday.

Congrats to MTJR, glad he was finally able to grab another one, long overdue for sure.

Truex has shown he is not just a flash in the pan....... I was really worried that when he got screwed over at MWR and got let go..... Kurt Busch had done so much to win in that 78 car.... an underfunded team..... Kurt brought them into the spotlight...... then went to SHR........ I was afraid Truex would get in that car and not be able to continue the success .... he had a slow start but after he got acclimatized..... he took off like a rocket...... I am really proud of him and what he has done........

Cole Pearn is a genius. Gave his driver the ballsiest strategy & MTJ executed it to perfection.

Cole might come off as a grade A douche but he's fkn brilliant. He's got a reason to be so ****y.

I thought it was bad form for talented folks to be ****y :lol2:

Truex has had a lot of CC's in his career and was never very successful. Now he is with a team separated from all the others, gets this Canadian CC and together they are like pure cream, always rising to the top.
