Congrats To DJ

Good job DJ. I have got to know what was Todd Parrott talking about. I want to win the race of life? Some people at home know what I am talking about? Life is more important than this stuff? All the while tears are streaming down his face. I wonder what is wrong.

Who cares what he was talking about. I feel for him but what does that have to do with racing?

I care because he apart of my favorite race team. How can you feel for him? Do you know what is wrong? If so why do you let me in on it.

Congratulations, D.J.! And a great race. I got just what I expected.

I wondered about Todd Parrott myself. Thinking it's either a marriage problem or a health problem. Hope it's nothing too serious.

I don't know what's wrong. I would just rather concentrate on racing then their personal lives.

Congrats to DJ. I enjoyed his first win there way back when and am happy for him today.:calpping: :beerchug:
I also wonder what todd parrott was talking about, I hope everything goes ok for him and his family.
Paul I can respect your point on this, but there are alot of us out here who feel that these people are kinda sorta our extended family. Just my opinion.

That's cool that it's your opinion and all but these people don't know you from Adam.

Damn it Paul, why can't people wonder about people? Maybe they care for the whole team instead of just a driver.

*sniff sniff...I smell a good ol fashioned battle comming on....

Nope, not at all, and I didn't say you didn't. But why question people like that when they ask a sincere question about something that might be dealing with life and death?

Because it's none of our business and these people are certainly not our families.

Well, he shouldn't have said anything about it....maybe that was his own subtle way to say," Pray for me".....

Then pray for him.

Not jump on the internet and start asking all about it, barely even commenting on the win.

Great race for the 88 team! Four tires was the way to go. That was a great race all around with pit strategy and driver ability being the key elements.

Now on to Bristol!

Seriously, I feel for him. Julie and I were sad and said that we hope everything will be ok.

But these people are not "my family" and I care more about the race than someone's personal hardships. Why is that so wrong?

Ok, not too change the subject....I just screwed this post up. Happy had a post about her wearing a bikini and I tried to "quote" it and respond to it......but I accidently hit "edit" and I wrote my response on her original post. When I tried to fix it, I screwed up again and deleted it........

Too many buttons to play with now...sorry for the confusion.

Now, back to your regular scheduled programming.

yep, she said she was in a bikini walking around the ring holding a sign that read "Round Two".......

sorry dude...........

A good race although I only watched the final 20 laps or so, but Dale Jarrets come back victory and Burton blowing the engine right after finishing the race was pretty good action. Nice to see Stewart back on track and another solid run today.

Glad DJ won, naturally, and my second favorite driver finished 2nd too. A pretty perfect day. Note, DJ got his spin out of the way first and then went on to drive. LOL

Now, I'm also wondering and concerned about Todd. Hope it's nothing serious and I do know he's not my family. Just have a natural compassion for people. Maybe that why I do what I do.

Congrats DJ:D

So Paul, I guess you are still ranting.....about the "help" with the kick-out. I didn't notice you moaning when Fords got help:p

Remember RESPECT ALL and WISH NO ILL.

This PURRRRRRRRRRRRR is for DJ.

Probably because you weren't a member here when Ford got help...because I did.

Sorry.

OK, sorry and purrrrrrrrrrrr
I guess you just want "parity".:) so the DRIVER and team show their best. PURRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Personally I think that the best car finished 22nd (lol) But really DJ must have had it...He still won with the fender partially knocked in.

One thing that I thought was a bit odd was when Todd Parrot said something like "You came from a spin to win, now thats drama on TNT" ...he mentioned TNTs name before that too. I wonder how much $$$ TNT gave him to say that?

Hey can you say DJ's the man!!!:victory: Was glad to see the whole 88 team get a victory today! Hope everything is ok with Todd and his family. I know the people on DJ's board will be hopping tonight! Can't wait till next week. I love those short tracks.:D WAY TO GO DJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post race news conferance quote:

YOU MENTIONED SOMETHING ABOUT A FAMILY MEMBER AFTER THE RACE? "It's been a tough couple of weeks. Anytime I win I get emotional. That's just the type of person I am. It's hard. To be honest, the schedule that we keep and the time that we're away from our families is tough. Anytime you win, you think about family and that's all I had on my mind."

Shrug, maybe he is having a tough time with the family and the time they spend apart.

Come on Awesome.......Todd was just trying be cute or something. That was entirely ad-libbed and it showed!! He was in the spotlight and he was happy......give the guy a break.

Good job to Dale Jarrett, always good to see him in Victory Lane.

I, to, wonder what what going on with Todd Parrott. I don't know why paul is jumping down people's throats that ask if any one know what was wrong with Todd Parrott, but I hope every thing works out for his own sake. When you say something like that on national television (that racing really doesn't matter compared to what he's going through), people ARE going to wonder what's going on.
