In case you missed it..... Dale Earnhardt Jr. added to that win list last night in a glorious victory over Shaquille O'Neal. In one of the very rare Tuesday night racing events, Earnhardt cruised to a stunning & totally unexpected win over a worthy opponent.

I really hope that this is the start of something big for him. It probably really boosted his confidence. As a longtime member of Jr. Nation, I wanted to be one of the first to congratulate him & his fans. :D

Go Jr.!

I still want to know how Shaq fit in that car!!!

I enjoyed the show. Shaq appears to be a real nice guy.

I didn't get a chance to see it but I heard someone say this morning that they had to have some sort of roof hatch or something. Heck, he was probably sitting on the rear axle.

He did have a roof hatch like Mikey had. But his knees were almost touching the wheel.

It was a fun show. Nothing serious at all --- just delightful.

Shaq did indeed climb in through a roof hatch. He wore the biggest firesuit I've ever seen --- had to have been made by Omar the Tentmaker.

Shaq kept getting better, and better as he got more laps. Dale really had his car on the edge to beat Shaq with the handicaps he was given.

In the first race, Dale started a lap down --- passed Shaq to win on the 5th lap. In the 2nd, a 10 lap race, Dale had to make 2, 4 tire pitstops while Shaq stayed on the track. Had to pass Shaq twice to win.

I really appreciated the fact that Shaq kept saying all during his experience that drivers are indeed athletes. He emphasized that everyone says anybody can drive a car, but not everyone can do what the drivers do. He stressed the mental part of racing, too.

Andy Hillenburg was Shaq's track coach.
