First off, Congrats to Carl Edwards for winning two races in a row! :beerbang:

Also, congrats to Jimmie Johnson, not only winning FIVE Championship in a row, but also proving that when he needs to, he will race hard and smart at Homestead by finishing 2nd!!!

GOOOO EDWARDS AND JOHNSON!!

Just glad Hamlin didnt win the Cup Championship.

Congrats Carl and Jimmie.

How come? Seems like almost everyone on here wanted anyone to win but Johnson. :p

Anyways, I knew Hamlin was going to choke. I wasn't 100% sure, but I had an inkling that he was going to choke, and he did.

Why? Because Denny Hamlin might be the single most unlikeable person in sports. He is at times a fairly dirty driver, whines constantly, and when he messes up blames everyone but himself.

Agreed. After his performance in Phoenix, he threw his crew chief under the bus.

True, but that also covers the other two JRG drivers as well.

:beerbang: Right on!

Congrats Jimmie! I think he will eclipse Petty and Earnhardt before it is all said and done....

I have never wanted a cut tire more than I did for Johnson in the final 10 laps, almost staring at the T.V. screen at Johnson left rear tire saying in my mind...cut a tire, cut a tire, Cut a tire, Cut a Tire, CUT a Tire, CUT A TIRE, CUT A DAMN TIRE!!!!!!!!!

I have no doubt Johnson has already secured a spot in the Nascar HOF.

Yep, after this season, there can be no doubt that Johnson and his team earned not only this Championship, but the four before.

Who was it that said "Winners never cheat and cheaters never win"?

B.S. Pardon my French.

I give a nod first to Chevrolet & Hendrick Motorsports & then to Jimmie Johnson, i look at the guys record since he's been in Cup fulltime & it's simply outstanding. Who saw this comming when he first came into the series back in 02? I remember back at the end of 04 telling a buddy of mine that when Jimmie finally starts winning titles that he would be unbeatable & so it is 6 years & 5 Johnson titles later, the man is the best of this era hands down.

You can thank Jeff Gordon for bringing him into the Hendrick stable. :) :beerbang:

Congrats Carl for your win..and Jimmie for cheating, getting away with it keeping him in the hunt...Also Congrats for Jeff's pit crew for effing up on pit road making Chad look like a bafoone for switching pit crews

Tip of the hat to Johnson and Knaus.

Short tracks, plate tracks, road courses, Indy and 5 cups in a row...like or not, I think that we're witnessing something special here.

Congrats to Jimmie, Chad and the whole 48 team. Well done!
