yea...like he said, good thing for having all the safety equip. And that veiw from bowyer was insane...i know you cant work on your car under red, but did they at least let him pull a tear-off or 2?

edit- and maybe a free car wash before they put it on the truck?

It was a great race for Denny. He kept going after his tired blew. He didnt give up and neither did his team.


That was a hard crash Jeff had. Thankgod for the Hans deives and $10,000 seats. He'll be sore tomorrow, but glad that will be his only problem.

Congrats to Denny. I wish I had seen the wreck by Jeff (not to be sick) just heard it was a hard hit. I cannot believe no media is out there of it.

The lens on the roof camera is about the size of a pencil eraser. It doesn't take much to cover it up. I'm sure the windshield got it's share though. But it looked like he could see through it better than the camera.

The front of his car looked like the front of a dirt late model after being on a tacky track.

Glad jeff is ok, that hurt me just watching it. The seat i use is a Kerkey, i bought it off a buddy because it was to big for him, it had a read/helmet support on the right side, but i added one to the left. I have the side supports for it, but they will not work with the roll cage in the car i am running now. I also am going to look in to the leg supports for the seat. I also run a 360* fireproof neck brace. Not as good as a hans but it does its job. I am going to look in to getting some form of hans like device. Safty is a big issuse for me, some of them cars in my class scare the hell out of em, sg tubing roll cages, no window nets, open sunroofs, no fire prof shuits and if they have then they olny were the jacket. So im like Jeff Hanamd Safty is no joke in racing, need to get all the gear you can.

My seat is no were near 10,000 dollors, might have around 300 or so in it, but its very safe.
 
Great run by Hamlin, looks like he is for real. Is it just me or did Fox once again blow the replay on Jeffys' crash? Glad Jeff is ok and can race another day because that was one very hard hit!
 
That was a pretty badass save from Hamlin when his tire blew. The guy is going to go far in NASCAR I think.

I agree with Mopardh9. The FOX camera men pick the most random guys to follow during the race sometimes. It seems that they will follow the top five or so and then go to the scrubs in the back twenty where nothing is going on. But at least you don't see as much of the NAPA car this year.
