Congratulations, Greg Biffle.

Greg was steering, shifting and drinking juice all with one hand? Damn, he's good.

The guy single-handedly ruined the last two Daytona 500's (please don't disagree because it's FACT) so he can do anything - even dust the great yip, yip mouth "closer" at Michigan - thus ruining the last two Daytona 500's.

Biffle is a boring driver who's the favorite of boring people.

oh waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa uh waaaaaaaaaaaaaa..I'm still crying like a baby, I'm ruined forever...I'll never forget the two ruined races...I'm going to jump off a cliff..my life is ruined..uh waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Oh the drama..

LOL I still don't get how he ruined them... maybe this years by not going for it and letting JJ win. But not going for the win doesn't ruin the race... unless ur a Biffle fan but he's clearly not. Plus how did he ruin the 500 that ur driver won? lol

I always felt Biffle was one of the more exciting guys to watch. Few drive a looser car than Biffle.

I dont really even see how people can get so angry over a guy winning the race. I mean, hes not even a frequent winner.
I am not a fan of roush or fords but even i cant really say that i can find a reason to not like him

I dont know of anyone who is a biffle fan. I mean hes not the most interesting character out there but he certainly doesnt really generate any reasonable cause for dislike either though. Kinda vanilla

Serious question, have you ever met anyone who's favorite driver was Biffle?
As a Harvick fan, I've clashed with a few Biffle fans on the internet before. Biffle also seems like one of the guys the Blue Oval fans constantly think will be their next championship contender. Biffle is a good driver who will have a nice little career when it's all said and done, but he'll never put it all together and win a Cup champion. Biffle is the contemporary Geoff Bodine or Harry Gant.

You do realize Biffle is the only Cup driver with a Truck Series Championship and a Busch Series Championship and would have had the Cup trophy in 2005 if not for a loose lug nut.

Oh, clearly he's the greatest driver ever. Move over, Richard Petty.

If my mother had a dick, she'd be my father.

But let's cut to the chase, are you butt hurt because I don't like your favorite driver as much as you do? :(

I never said anything about being the greatest driver.. Do you not read what you write? you said Biffle would would never put it all together for a Championship.. I was just informing you that If Biffle doesn't have a loose lug he has Tony covered and wins it in 05.

I was specifically talking about Cup when I wrote that a month ago.

So, he couldn't put it all together to win the Cup in '05, correct?

Twas only a dropped lug! Might as well call JJ 6-time considering he would've had the championship last year if it wasn't for a mere blown tire and an engine problem ;)

I'm sure we can come up with 5 guys from every year who would have been champion "if it wasn't for" something. That's why I find that argument silly.

Being a champion is about being consistent at the right times throughout the whole year, from the driver to the crew chief to the guy who puts the lug nuts on. Like somebody said in that thread talking about why NASCAR doesn't have a podium - "Second place is the first loser".

No **** guyz.. look what happened to Carl last year, and it happens every Sunday to somebody. My point was Kevin you said Biffle could never put it together to make a Championship run and my point was he aleardy did.

In Truck and Nationwide. Probably has a few "track championships" from local short tracks somewhere, too.

How long have you been a nascar fan? I'm talking about the 2005 CUP championship

IMO, being a loose lug nut away from a Cup championship makes him something more than just "a good driver who will have a nice little career when it's all said and done."

And, for the fourth time, second place is the first loser. CLOSE only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades, as they say.

I don't think so. That's your opinion and you're entitled to it, but like I said, being a champion is about doing everything right all year, from every member of the team, including the driver, crew chief and guy who changes the tires. The #48 #24 #3 and #43 teams of old didn't make mistakes like that and they have the Cups to prove it.

Agree 100%

And while we're at it I suppose we oughta lump Harvick into that same category as being "a good driver who will have a nice little career when it's all said and done."

Sure, you could, but with his two Busch championship and almost winning the Cup in 2010 (if it wasn't for that pesky Johnson and Hamlin finishing in front of him) makes him a championship-caliber driver in Sidewayz world, so I guess I won't have to wait long for a Harvick Cup championship.
