My sweet thang!!!!! Dominated the race and showed those other guys how a Road Course SHOULD be run!!!!

Congrats to Jeff and the entire #24 crew. That was about as dominant as the #48 at Charlotte.

To Jeff & the 24 team.

Yeah Jeff showed 'em how it's done!! :D

What is that now? Four for the season?

YaaaaaaaaaaaaaaHoooooooooooooooooo, Jeff!!!!!
Ya dood it!!!!! Good race!!!!
Felt bad for several of the guys, though.
Tony, poor Robby,
Rusty running outta gas at the end.
And Schrader being victimized, again.
Loved that Blue Flag thing they introduced too.

What is the Blue Flag? I heard them mention it once and that was toward the end of the Race, I had to work so I only caught the last part of the race.

The blue flag took the place of a partial course caution. Drivers could pass, but only pass with care. Sort of like those signs you see when driving in the mountains. :D I gather it's similar to the "gentlemen's agreement" before the rule on racing back the the yellow!! Only this one has teeth..........but the first time NASCAR enforces a violation, you'll have a stink!! Just more drama for the fans to get all excited about. I can only see it working on road courses.

Good job Jeff...

Really showed what it means to be a dominate road racer.

From my understanding, the Blue Flag was not really a "caution" flag, but "BE AWARE" that there is a spin out or wreck ahead. I don't think it'll be used except on road courses.

Hmmm, he seems to be getting closer to a certain driver's # of wins. And, in a lot less time. He may not tie him for Championships but I don't think many will doubt that he will surpass him in wins.

Jeff will probably pass a certain driver's win totals in 2006 season, but the fallout will be a watershed ;) Just the mere mention of that possibly happening brings out the worse in many of that legend's fanbase. :D
Personally,I believe that Jeff will pass the modern-era wins leader Darrell Waltrip before His retirement,as for David Pearson's all-time 105 wins, that would be quite a challenge, possible and some JG fans believe that He'll reach taht milestone, but I'm somewhat conservative on that notion. ;) The King Richard Petty's 200 all-time wins and 126 poles won categories are safe from Jeff Gordon, but about any other records are up for grabs, including the tied 7 Championships record. :D
