Congratulations Jimmie

G'job Jimmie!!!

How did Jeff G. lose all those spots in one lap? (wasn't able to watch)

Great last 15 laps! I was really pulling for Brian Vickers, my wife thought I was going to have a heart attack. This is what restrictor plate racing is all about.

Jeff kinda got hung out to dry and it looked like he was in reverse. I sure was surprised!

All in all i'd have to say that was one of the better plate races i've watched in awhile. Was hoping Riggs could get up there, but he wasn't quite strong enough.

Yeah, the #7 was good all weekend and like Vern said, those last 15 laps were darn good.

Actually, I didn't see one instance of foolishness or excessive bumping and there were a #$%^ load of lead changes.

Excellent Race.

yea i watched the last 60 on tape- the 7 and 96 turned out well. Looks like jeff got hung out to dry and briefely got help from edwards but then just got freight trained. Too bad JR got the engine spun backwards, i guess since they never shift you dont rest your foot on the clutch like you would at many other tracks.

Thankfully the replay is on Speed Thursday afternoon. 2:30?? I guess I'll need to Tivo and watch. Inside Nextel Cup sure made it seem exciting.

YOu dont shift on any track but to pit, pocono, and road tracks, so i dont think it makes a diff where they rest there foot.
