Congratulations Juan Pablo Montoya

Only the second foreign driver ever to win a NASCAR race at it's highest level. There's probably a puddle in that car from all the sweating he did those last ten laps thinking he was gonna run outta gas but he did a good job of fuel conservation & brought it home. First Ganassi victory since McMurray at Charlotte Motor Speedway 5 years ago. Ironic that he's the guy Montoya passed to get it. Then again JMac was gonna run outta gas anyway.
 
And Juan Pablo Montoya joins Mario Andretti as the only driver ever to win the Indy 500, a Formula One race, and a Nascar Cup series race.

That's pretty amazing. Sure, it wasn't the Daytona 500. But many other road course specialists have tried- and failed to beat the cup guys.

Juan is a historic driver.
 
Fantastic drive by JPM. I was holding my breath that last lap --- I just knew he would run out of gas.

Congratulations to JPM and the whole #42 crew. Great strategy.

he definitely gave the 48 a couple donuts and spun Kurt Busch out in the hairpin. but no biggie, just good old fashioned sonoma racing.

What he usually does on any track and what he did to Scott Pruitt in Mexico... I said he didn't wreck anyone today.
