Impressive driving and Tony ALMOST got you!

Mr Harvick, I salute you and the whole Team! :beerbang:

Boy that was some good racing.
Congrats to Kevin and RCR.
Nice run for the 99, coming from 21st.
Very impressive run for McMurray, nice to see those guys finally have some good luck.
Bad call on McCauley's part.

Nice job Kevin... love the sitting on the edge of your seat races :) Good job to Tony for a clean race as well.. noone can say you took any cheap shots this time :) And wow.. where did Jamie come from??.. good to see him up front!!!!

oh yes..congrats are in order for kevin..good stuff keeping tony at bay

oh and he couldn't do anything because kevin put a sizeable gap lead between the two

kevin

It is nice to hendricks cars doing bad and rcr and jgr doing so well. good work, to kevin and stewart

They can all thank the caution light putting the #2 car in the back more than anybody. No one could stop him today.... except his own crew chief.

true.

BTW the hendrick bunch did a good job today..doesn't go as a bad day today

Watch it! Lots of us members cheer FOR Hendricks drivers, and VERY FEW members welcome someome newbie being negative.

LEARN about us and show some RESPECT!

Congrats to Kevin anf the #29 team for a well deserved win!!
I agree Kurt got the shaft pretty good today

Damn good run for Tony, Jamie and Robby too.
Gee, I don't think Robby caused anyone to lose points today, other than just flat out beating the crap out of them. He moved up another position in the points, looking good to be in the top 20 by the end of the year, that would be big for that team and give them a big headstart for next year.

HEY HEY Boris Said, 6th place!!!

Still have not figured out how newman got a top ten finishing spot. Way to go NBC for a second week in a row you leave us guessing as to what in the hell happened with all the cars spinning at the end of the race. Surely there was more then one car angle that could have shown us how everyone faired out of the deal.

Crew chief made a great call. Nascar needs to rethink where to put the` damn lights.

btw...good job Kev

NBC did show 1 replay, but did not explain what happened on the last lap once again. It's like the network doesn't give a s_ _ _!! They are too concerned with promoting the upcoming NFL season to really care about NASCAR anymore. I'm done ranting about this though, just have to accept the fact that their coverage is horrid and suck it up for the rest of the season.

I agree. If he goes thru the pits he still loses a few positions. But, when its that close NASCAR should have said something to let the 2 know before he pulled into the pits. Not that I want to sound like a Kurt butt boy but fair is fair.
As to Kevin winning, that is just great.
And, those poor poor Hendrick drivers. He only has 3 in the Chase at this point. Jimmie is still on top and while Jeff may have lost a position the 11th place also lost points and that's all he really has to be concerned about for now.

mopar, just checked at Evernham's site and read that Kasey was at fault again, this time hitting the grass at the innerloop. That cost him 12 positions. Once again, over agressive driving cost him. He had been doing very well for most of this season, but I think that the pressure is a bit much for him and he's over driving again, like he did last year. The next four races will tell for sure and he's got wins at two of them and good finishes at the other two.

I think Kasey hopped into a Cup car way too early. He's very talented but he was very inexperienced in a stock car when they stuck him in one. I think he should have run a few more seasons in the Busch series before Cup.

I always thought that too. Next few races will tell the tale i guess. Kasey is very talented, while i don't think this is the year for him, i do think he will win a Championship very soon.

Your right Buck....at the begining of the season Kasey seemed so much more focused, relaxed, and patient behind the wheel. Now he is pressing too much to get a few more positions when he should take what hes' got towards the end of a race. In the next 4 races he needs top 10s, if he can do that he has a good shot at the Chase.

This can be said about any number of young hot shots. I recall that I, along with many, many others thought that Jeff Gordon jumped the gun. Was I wrong. But of course, we really will never know whether Kasey jumped the gun or not, but that would be living in the past. Kasey is here and now and if he's good enough to make it, he'll be there for a while.

Wasn't Newman also dominating the field in the not too distant past ??? Now, he can't even get the poles he once was.

Whooo hooo!!! Go Happy Harvick!!! Sooooo happy he finally got another Cup victory and at a road course at that!!! Yay!!! :D
