More like the "last man standing"

Great job driving by Mark Martin. And to his team for helping to keep him up front for most of the race! He was the lucky one being all the way in the back when the "big one" happened. I really think that Jimmie could have come pretty close to winning if he hadn't gotten caught up in that melee.

Again, congratulations to Mark Martin! :)

CONGRATULATIONS MARK! THANKS FOR SHOWING THOSE YOUNG GUNS THAT THE OLD ONES STILL KNOW HOW TO GET R DONE!!!

Congratulations to mark, and his team atleast something good came out of this mess.

Although I am not a Mark Martin fan I was happy to see him win instead of one of the same 5 to 7 drivers who win every race.

They really need to take the plates off the cars so the big one doesn't happen.

the old guy pulled it off... nice run
This quote from the guy who said Mark was to old to win. :D

It was Jmac42fanva who reminded me to never say never after I said Kenny Wallace would never win a NEXTEL Cup race. After the "snafu" at Dover, that "never say never" reminder is clear.

As to rating the race(?), it was exciting entertainment and gets a six and that is probably one more than it really deserves.
It was controlled mayhem for lack of a better term. A win would have been deserving for any of the top four finishers as each position was earned and no one was handed the win.

You mean the big one can also happen without the plate? I thought the big one only happened at the plate tracks.

Please note the sarcasm.
